[linux-users: 108949] smartctl -x /dev/sda 実行時のWORST値とは？

こんばんは、よろしくお願いします。

smartctl -x /dev/sda を実効した時、
THRESH値を気にすれば良くて、
WORST値は、気にしなくてよい
ように書かれているのですが、

WORSTのとこに、値が入っているのは、
HDDメーカーさんが、何かのテストを実効した時の
結果値が入ったまま、出荷されている
からでしょうか？
