[vine-users:082045] 印刷できない (Brother HL-5240)

Vine 5.2 が入っていたマシンに Vine 6.1 を新規インストールしたところ
以前は使えていたプリンタが使えず困っています
どのような原因が考えられるでしょうか

1. やったこと

1.1. パラレルポート接続で使用するための設定

$ /sbin/lsmod | grep parport
parport_pc             16039  1

1.2. プリンターの設定

システム > システム管理 > 印刷 として新規のプリンターを設定するが
テストページが印刷されない

プロパティ > ポリシー とすると
"印刷できません" "サーバー設定を確認してください" とある

2. 上の操作をしたときの /var/log/cups/error_log

2.1. "デバイスを選択" の画面で

4. その他

Vine 6.1 をインストールした別なマシンから USB 接続したところ
自動的に設定が済んだように見えましたが
やはりテストページは印刷されず /var/log/cups/error_log も同様でした
